The MTA of NY needed to build a cost effective high performance building on the shores of the Hudson River in Croton on Hudson NY.  These buildings store and house trains needed to bring people daily from upper Westchester County to New York City.

The job needed to be both energy efficient and reflective for LEED standards. It was a very large project with over a quarter of a million feet of surface area.

The architect and engineers selected a double layer polyisocyanurate system exceeding the requirements of the NYS Building Code and an adhered White TPO exceeding the EPA Energy Star Standards for reflectivity and emissivity.  Securock Gypsum was supplied as wall cladding for its outstanding bond ability and for it 95 % recycled content.  Unit skylights and smoke vents assisted in the daylighting requirements.

The job came in within the strict budgets of the Metropolitan Transit Authority and is performing to the highest standards.
